2021–100 DAYS CHALLENGE
100 Days of Sketching is a simple yet effective challenge to improve your art and drawing skills in 100 days. Its concentration lies in its simplicity and its sustainability. Kesh is a visual storyteller, illustrator, and filmmaker, and his YouTube Channel is KeshART. I joined Kesh’s 100 days of sketching challenge in 2021, and making a picture a day; whatever word of the day from the prompt list inspiring me. This is a daily sketching challenge that I do every year to create more consistency with my Art and improve my skill level at the same time.
Here’s how it works, 1. Draw everyday for at least 6 mins/day for 100 Days. 2. On any particular day, if you feel like it draw more, if not, just draw for 6 minutes. 3. Finish the challenge by either doing this in 100 consecutive days or 100 days in total. I am currently posting them on Instagram; Once the competition is completed, I will upload al the pictures here.

The 100 Heads Challenge is an art competition where the artist’s goal is to draw 100 different heads in 10 days. That makes it ten drawings of heads each day. There’s no restraint when it comes to using tools — you can draw the heads with traditional or digital media. The artist who created this challenge is Ahmed Aldoori — a professional illustrator known for his YouTube channel, where he uploads videos about art with handy tips, drawing processes, and art podcasts. I joined this challenge in 2017.

Inktober 2020 is a month-long art challenge created by artist Jake Parker focused on improving skill and developing positive drawing habits. Every day in October, anyone participating in the Inktober challenge creates an ink drawing and posts it on social media. I did the first ten days of the challenge and made a picture a day; the word of the day from the prompt list inspired me to create my drawing.

In this collection I started in 2021, I created art for the Continuous Line Challenge a.k.a. One Line Challenge, where I drew one continuous line to create a design, and the line is unbroken from the start to the end of the drawing. It is an artistic method of drawing and generally used to highlight the picture’s quality other than the pictorial elements. You have the freedom to use your choice of tools to make your art, either pen, pencil, marker, crayon, string.
